The lead content in high leaded tin bronze alloys is between 7.00% and 15.00%. These alloys are free cutting and retain favorable thermal conductivity and good lubricity due to the lead content. Alloy C93200, also termed bearing bronze, SAE 660, SAE 660 bronze, and SAE 660 bearing bronze, is considered this family’s workhorse alloy and is widely used in many bearing applications.

The C93200/SAE660/RG7 is considered "standard" bearing material of lead-tin bronze.The alloy has excellent machining performance, good hardness, strength and wear resistance, excellent wear resistance.Typical applications include bearings, gaskets, bushing, auto parts, main shaft bearing, machine tool bearings, crane bearing, trunnion bearing, roller bearing neck, rolling mill bearings, sleeve is fuel pump and pump shaft sleeve, diesel engine piston pin bushing, forging toggle lever bearing, stuffing box hydraulic press, hydraulic press main lining, pump impeller, gm liner, fitting, pump assembly, outer spherical bearings, and so on.

Material recommendation


1. ZCuSn6Zn6Pb3 and ZCuSn5Zn5Pb5 can be used to manufacture wear-resistant parts such as bushes, gears and worm wheels working under medium load and speed.
2. ZCuSn10P1 is a typical tin-phosphorus bronze with high hardness and wear resistance. It can be used to manufacture parts under heavy load, high speed and high temperature, which are strongly rubbed, such as connecting rod bushing, gear, worm wheel, etc.
3. ZCuAl9Mn2, ZCuAl9Fe4 and aluminium bronze have high strength, high compactness and stable chemical properties. Usually used in valve body, worm wheel, nut, pipe fittings, etc.

4. ZCuZn25Al6Fe3Mn3 high strength aluminium brass has the highest strength among special brass. It has high strength, high hardness, high wear resistance, moderate plasticity and good corrosion resistance. Therefore, it can be used to cast heavy machinery with high load wear resistance weight.
5. ZCuSn10P1 has high hardness, excellent wear resistance, not easy to bite, good casting and cutting performance, and good corrosion resistance in air and fresh water. It can be used for wear-resistant parts under high load (below 20Mpa) and high sliding speed (8m/s), such as connecting rod, bushing, bearing bush, gear, worm wheel, etc. 6. ZCuSn10Pb5 is corrosion resistant, especially to dilute sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and fatty acid.
