Diamond-shaped lubricant reservoirs.Wrapped bronze bushings are particularly well suited for applications where high levels of contamination make relubricationnecessary. The sliding surface of an cusn8 wrapped bronze bushing contains diamond shaped pockets that must initially be filled with grease. The pockets act as reservoirs to progressively release lubricant during operation. Bushings offers a full range of both straight and flanged wrapped bronze bushings.Straight bushings are manufactured to dimensions in accordance with ISO 3547.
Structure And Composition
The bearings are wrapped from a cold formed homogenous bronze (CuSn8) with exceptional material properties. The standard sizes are fitted with diamond shaped lubrication indents in the bearing surface. These indents serve as lubricant reservoirs to rapidly build up a lubrication film at the start of movement and thereafter reduce the running friction. The material is suitable for construction and agricultural machinery applications.
