Influence of cooling speed: in a certain casting process, the cooling speed of the casting has a great impact on the degree of graphite.With the increase of the wall thickness, the cooling rate of the castings slows down and the carbon atoms have sufficient diffusion time, which is conducive to the graphitization process and the gray-iron structure can be easily formed at room temperature.However, thin-walled parts in the cooling process of cooling too fast, easy to form a white iron.
